Job summary

Sheikh Shakhbout Medical City is seeking to lead its Education Unit, focusing on planning, implementing, and evaluating activities to raise nutrition awareness in the community and to achieve department goals at a high standard.

The role includes overseeing students, guiding curriculum understanding, developing study plans, and monitoring progress, with strong emphasis on counselling, supervision, and coordination with teachers and parents.

Qualifications

• Oversee and guide students in completion of homework and academic assignments.
• Support students in understanding curriculum requirements and study methods.
• Develop structured study plans for students requiring additional support.
• Monitor academic progress and recommend interventions when required.

Responsibilities

• Provide age appropriate counselling to children and teenagers.
• Address behavioral emotional or learning concerns.
• Support development of discipline responsibility and self management skills.
• Refer complex cases to senior leadership or external specialists when needed.
• Coordinate with teachers on student academic and behavioral issues.
• Participate in parent meetings and provide feedback on student progress.
• Maintain structured reports and documentation.
• Support school wide student support initiatives and participate in academic planning.
