GEMS FirstPoint School in Dubai is seeking an outstanding Teacher of Economics to join our thriving team from August 2027. The role offers opportunities to undertake middle leadership responsibilities, including Curriculum Leadership, Head of Year, or Head of Careers, within a leading international school.

The school opened in 2014, serves around 2,000 students from Nursery to Year 13, and is renowned for inclusive ethos and high academic standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Economics or related subject.
• A recognised teaching qualification (PGCE, QTS or equivalent).
• Experience teaching Economics within the British curriculum, including GCSE.
• Excellent subject knowledge and a commitment to delivering engaging, high-quality learning experiences.
• A passion for inclusive education and the ability to inspire students of all abilities.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a commitment to contributing to the wider life of the school.
