- Assist faculty with various technical and administrative tasks in preparation for and during classes.
- Maintain supplies, equipment, and materials in support of educational programs.
- Advise supervisor in advance of program equipment, repair, and supply needs.
- Identify and facilitate activities across the curriculum when appropriate.
- Set-up, maintain and provide supervision within the various curricular activities.
- Assist teachers when requested in daily classroom activity planning and supervision.
- Assist teachers in keeping supplies ready, replenished and available for students use.
- Assisting / interacting with students as necessary and with large group activities.
- Manage and organize supplies / store room.
- Make preparations for future projects.
- Responsible for putting up displays and bulletin boards as needed
- Provide general assistance to the teachers during Maker events.
- Work with individual students or small groups of students to reinforce learning of material or skills as designed and prescribed by the teacher.
- Help students master equipment or instructional materials assigned by the teacher including computer technology.
- Participate in in-service training programs as assigned.

Required Qualifications :
- Technical diploma, degree, certificate in a related field.
- Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Strong verbal and written English communication skills.
- The ability to inspire children through education.
- Full understanding and support of the school's philosophy.
Preferred Qualifications :
- Previous experience working in an Elementary school educational setting.

Terms of Employment :
This position is classified as a non-sponsored support staff position. General working hours are from 7 : 45 am - 3 : 45 pm, Monday through Thursday and 7 : 45 am - 12 : 45 pm (on site) & 2 : 30 pm - 3 : 45 pm (remote / flexible) on Fridays. In some cases, flexibility with work hours is requested to meet the needs of the role.
