Do you have a degree in Early Childhood with at least 2 years teaching experience? Would you like to teach abroad in the United Arab Emirates? My client is looking for qualified and experienced female early childhood teachers to join for the next academic year. This is an ideal school to start your international career and develop it. If you have experience teaching in an Islamic faith school which delivers the UK curriculum of England and Wales then you would be ideal for this school. The school is located about 15 minutes from Dubai. This International School in Sharjah is a flourishing nursery to Grade 13 school that provides a high‑quality education service leading to internationally recognised examination qualifications (IGCSE) and AS levels. The curriculum follows the English National Curriculum with modifications for the Islamic dimension and includes compulsory Arabic for all students. Outside visits and residential expeditions, including UAE‑based expeditions and humanities trips to other Emirates, are integral parts of the senior school curriculum. The school opened in 1991 and has undergone an extensive building programme over the past decade, which is now near completion. There is an early years campus for children from nursery to Grade 1, a separate campus for Grade 2–4 (Primary), and a main campus which houses separate senior girls and boys schools. In the 2008‑2009 academic year, there were approximately 2 200 students from nursery to Year 13, with a diverse mix of around 35 nationalities, the largest group coming from the UAE, other Middle‑East countries and Asia, and a small number from the UK and USA.
