Job summary

Cranleigh Abu Dhabi is seeking an exceptional Teacher of EAL & MFL to join in January 2027. You will deliver high-quality EAL provision while teaching French and/or Spanish, supporting pupils for whom English is an additional language.

You will bring strong language knowledge, excellent classroom practice and a collaborative approach, working with colleagues and pastoral teams to identify language needs and help pupils access the wider curriculum confidently.

Qualifications

• Recognised teaching qualification.
• EAL qualifications such as CELTA, DELTA, Trinity CertTESOL or DipTESOL.
• Strong language knowledge and excellent classroom practice.
• Experience supporting pupils for whom English is an additional language.
• Energy, creativity and collaborative approach to working with colleagues.

The role

The successful candidate will deliver high-quality EAL provision alongside teaching French and/or Spanish. They will bring strong language knowledge, excellent classroom practice and proven experience supporting pupils for whom English is an additional language. The role requires energy, creativity and a collaborative approach, working closely with teachers and pastoral teams to identify language needs, deliver targeted support and help pupils access the wider curriculum confidently.

• Appropriate EAL qualification such as CELTA, DELTA, Trinity CertTESOL, Trinity DipTESOL or an equivalent recognised qualification
• Strong language knowledge and excellent classroom practice
• Proven experience supporting pupils for whom English is an additional language
• Energy, creativity and a collaborative approach to working with colleagues
