Desired skills and expertise:
- Minimum 4+ years of experience in a similar role with equivalent knowledge, skills, and abilities
- Arabic speaking and already located in the UAE
- Professional licensure process is close to completion; LEED accreditation preferred.
- Completion of a professional degree in Architecture or a related field.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Understanding and conversance in Revit, AutoCAD, Rhino, parametric and rendering software, and other graphic software.
- Proficiency in Google Workspace and Adobe Suite.
- Familiarity with Deltek Vision, Salesforce, and Smartsheets.
Position Responsibilities
- Support the Senior Project Manager in preparing, issuing, and managing compliance plans to align project goals including budget, deliverables, and schedule. Gain agreement with the senior team for labor allocation. Attend weekly team meetings to address variances from the project plan.
- Assist in administering internal control procedures with the Project Accountant, including billing, collections, percent complete, expense management, and year-end activities. Analyze project reports and proactively manage project profitability.
- Participate actively in project design and technical discussions and decision-making.
- Communicate actively through weekly meetings, assist with issuing meeting minutes, maintain accurate project records, and share project information and correspondence.
- Support owner/client relationships and expectations to enable effective, efficient, and collaborative work.
- Participate in new business and marketing efforts, including responses to marketing requests and maintaining firm relationships.
- Assist in initiating, monitoring, and maintaining the project schedule and work plan, including meetings and presentations.
- Help schedule and lead internal weekly project meetings; develop agendas and project status updates.
- Support the initiation, monitoring, and maintenance of the project plan and financial performance.
- Maintain SOM-Client Services Agreements, Sub-Consultant Agreements, and requests for additional services.
- Monitor scope for contract compliance and potential additional services.
- Promote and communicate the work of the firm effectively.
- Exhibit initiative, problem-solving, and decision-making skills with high attention to precision and accuracy.
- Collaborate critically and constructively at all project levels, contributing to studio and office activities.
- Communicate effectively internally and externally through written, oral, and visual means.
- Lead by example, participate in staff mentoring and training, define team expectations, empower others, and delegate appropriately.
