Job Description

A leading landscaping company in the UAE seeks an experienced carpentry supervisor / lead for its projects across the UAE.

The candidate, if selected, would be leading the carpentry team or unit across the UAE.

1. Construct and install outdoor structures such as decks, fences, gazebos, pergolas, and retaining walls.
2. Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine materials and tools required.
3. Provide estimates and select the appropriate wood and materials based on specifications.
4. Measure and mark cutting lines on materials using rulers, squares, or marking gauges.
5. Cut, shape, and join wood, composite materials, and other materials using hand and power tools.
6. Install and maintain irrigation systems and outdoor lighting.
7. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
8. Communicate with clients to meet their needs and preferences, and provide guidance and recommendations.

Desired Candidate Profile

1. Minimum high school graduate or ICVT (Vocational Certificate) in carpentry or joinery trade.
2. Professional with 10+ years of experience.
3. Knowledge of wood joinery and varieties used for fabrication, with experience in exterior and interior wooden structures, from small to large-scale projects.
4. Minimum of 5 years of work experience in the UAE.
5. Ability to read drawings, calculate quantities, and prepare quotations.
6. Language proficiency in English and Hindi.
