Your Contribution to Our Growth

We are seeking an Infrastructure/DevOps Engineer to join our team at Aquanow! This Infrastructure Engineer will be a part of our lean team, and will play a mission-critical role in enabling the scale, speed, and reliability of everything we build. You'll be the force behind the infrastructure that powers our high-performance, low-latency systems ensuring developers can ship quickly and securely in a fast-paced crypto trading environment. From architecting scalable cloud infrastructure in AWS to automating through Infrastructure as Code (Terraform/Terragrunt), your work will directly support our ability to innovate and move fast, without compromising on stability or uptime.

This is a hands-on role where you'll own everything from container orchestration (Kubernetes, ECS) and CI/CD automation to observability and incident response. You'll collaborate across engineering to build reusable infrastructure modules, monitor and improve production systems using tools like Coralogix, and implement smart deployment strategies in a high-availability environment.

What You'll Do

• Design, build, and maintain scalable AWS infrastructure using services like ECS, EKS, Lambda, RDS, and advanced networking (VPC Peering, Transit Gateway).
• Develop and manage Infrastructure as Code using Terraform and Terragrunt, ensuring reusable, modular, and production-grade configurations.
• Lead container orchestration efforts using Docker, Kubernetes, and ECS, with hands-on production deployment and optimization.
• Own CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, with experience integrating Jenkins, CodeBuild, and CodeDeploy for streamlined automation.
• Implement robust release engineering practices, including automated testing, blue-green/canary deployments, and rollback strategies.
• Monitor and support production systems, utilizing tools like Prometheus, Grafana, and Coralogix to maintain performance and reliability.
• Collaborate cross-functionally, documenting infrastructure decisions and communicating clearly with development and security teams.
• Program and script in Python and shell, building automation, tooling, and integrations to improve DevOps velocity and security.

We'd Love to See

• 7+ years of AWS cloud infrastructure expertise ideally with Certifications with AWS, DevOps, Networking, Kubernetes, etc.
• Deep proficiency with Terraform or Terragrunt.
• Experience with Kubernetes and real-world experience in orchestrating complex workloads (CKA).
• Mastery of GitHub Actions with real automation use cases and CI/CD pipelines.
• Hands-on experience with Kafka and Confluent (or Redpanda, Instaclustr), WAF, and secure architecture practices.
• Familiarity with modern observability stacks including NewRelic, Datadog, Coralogix, and/or Prometheus (we use Coralogix).
• Passion for automation, clean documentation, and knowledge sharing.
• A proactive, ownership-driven attitude with experience working in fast-paced and high-growth environments.
