Job Title

Pre-Sales Engineer

Job Scope

The Pre-Sales Engineer is responsible for advising and coordinating with the Sales team on all technical issues related to account penetration strategies, pre-sales implementations, solution design, and training. They are technical experts who build strong relationships with partners and customers, driving business through multiple technical initiatives.

Main Duties and Responsibilities
  1. Act as a subject matter expert in the technical/solutions design of the company's products/services.
  2. Collaborate with the Sales team to develop and implement account penetration strategies and achieve targets.
  3. Create specific accounts for products, services, and sales plans related to the company's offerings.
  4. Support the Sales team by qualifying opportunities, advising on technical aspects, presenting solutions, and demonstrating high-level designs.
  5. Manage proof of concepts (POC), requests for proposals (RFP), and close opportunities from pre-sales and implementation perspectives.
  6. Build strong relationships with partners and customers to support sales objectives.
  7. Lead technical sales calls.
  8. Manage adoption, integration, and value generation of products/services within customer/partner IT infrastructure.
  9. Complete pre-sales documentation accurately and efficiently.
  10. Develop content, and train/support partners and customers.
  11. Respond to after-hours support queries during rotations and escalate issues when necessary.
  12. Utilize systems like Salesforce CRM for leads, opportunity, and deal management to improve efficiency and standardization.
Position Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
  • Experience: 2-3 years in Generator Enclosures, web solutions, or related areas.
