Job Description

As Space42's Events Manager, you will play a pivotal role in amplifying our brand and driving business growth through strategically crafted event experiences. This position sits at the intersection of creativity and execution, requiring a visionary who can conceptualize immersive events while ensuring flawless delivery. You'll serve as the architect of memorable experiences from industry-leading trade shows and product launches to exclusive executive engagements and digital activations, all designed to elevate our SpaceTech and AI leadership. Beyond logistics, you'll shape the strategic framework for events, establishing best practices, performance metrics, and innovative formats that align with our commercial objectives. As a key collaborator across Marketing, Sales, Product, and external partners, you'll transform events into powerful touchpoints that deepen client relationships and accelerate Space42's market impact. This role demands a rare blend of strategic thinking, operational excellence, and a passion for creating connections that resonate long after the event concludes.

Responsibilities
  1. Develop and manage a high-impact annual events calendar aligned with Space42's strategic marketing, sales, and corporate objectives.
  2. Lead end-to-end planning and execution of major events including:
    • Global trade shows and industry exhibitions
    • Product launch events and technology showcases
    • Executive VIP experiences and partner summits
    • Webinars and virtual/hybrid thought leadership sessions
    • Internal employee engagement and corporate culture events
  3. Own full event budget management including forecasting, cost control, and ROI measurement.
  4. Implement performance tracking metrics (attendance, engagement, lead conversion) and optimize strategies.
  5. Ensure post-event lead follow-up processes are executed to maximize revenue impact.
  6. Collaborate with marketing, product, and leadership teams to develop compelling event messaging and content.
  7. Manage speaker selection, briefing, and session programming.
  8. Oversee all event production elements including venue, AV, catering, and logistics.
  9. Lead trade show participation including booth design, staffing, and lead capture strategies.
  10. Negotiate and manage sponsorship opportunities and partnerships.
  11. Select and oversee event agencies/vendors to ensure flawless execution.
  12. Work with digital marketing team on integrated promotional campaigns.
  13. Drive registration strategies in partnership with sales/business development teams.
  14. Manage all financial processes including POs, payments, and compliance.
  15. Continuously research industry trends and innovative event formats.
  16. Build and maintain relationships with key industry partners and vendors.
  17. Develop post-event reports with key insights and recommendations.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in marketing, event management, or related discipline.
  • Between 7-10 years of experience with planning and executing a wide range of B2B events.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to juggle multiple events simultaneously. Highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive problem solver. Responsible team player demonstrating ownership and accountability.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English; proficiency in Arabic is preferred.
  • Experience with event technology systems such as registration sites, event management platforms, mobile apps, and CRM integration.
  • Willingness and ability to travel across countries to plan and execute events.
