We’re looking for a Temperature Control Technician (HVAC) for our Abu Dhabi location, focusing on delivering planned maintenance programs to ensure reliable and safe asset operation.

What you’ll do:

1. Coordinate and undertake a range of maintenance activities within defined operating procedures
2. Conduct safety inspections and ensure compliance with Aggreko's safety regulations
3. Provide first-level technical advice to customers
4. Resolve and troubleshoot implementation problems as needed
5. Perform major equipment servicing and overhauls according to defined service intervals and standard operating procedures
6. Carry out intermediate troubleshooting and fault diagnostics on Temperature Control Equipment
7. Perform intermediate installation and commissioning, such as commissioning of nominal temperature chillers, multiple AC units, heaters, compressors, etc.

You’ll have the following skills and experience:

1. 3-5 years of experience in Refrigeration / HVAC
2. Certification in Welding and/or Brazing
3. Experience troubleshooting chillers like JCI, York, Midia, and others
4. Experience working with chillers, water coolers, air-cooled chillers, etc.
5. Experience performing major equipment servicing and overhauls in line with standard procedures
6. Ability to troubleshoot and diagnose faults on Temperature Control Equipment
7. Experience with installation and commissioning of HVAC systems
8. Attention to detail and team-oriented mindset
9. Ability to calculate nominal and effective tonnage and/or kW requirements, and read schematics
10. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
11. Experience with OFA units and boilers is preferred
