Cluster Groups, Meetings & Events Supervisor

The Cluster Groups, Meetings & Events Supervisor is responsible for managing groups, meetings, and events at the hotel, serving as the primary contact for clients and coordinating with various hotel departments to ensure successful event execution.

What will I be doing?

As a Cluster Groups, Meetings & Events Supervisor, you will oversee the entire process of event management, from initial contact to contract preparation, and through to the conclusion of the event. Your responsibilities include:

  • Receiving and updating information on groups, conferences, and events
  • Drafting and managing contracts for events
  • Entering rooming lists, updating payment instructions, and recording relevant details in the system
  • Negotiating budgets with clients
  • Developing work orders with all necessary information
  • Conducting briefings with clients covering event details
  • Preparing monthly reports and closing event information
  • Collaborating with Account Managers, Sales Coordinators, Reservations, Front Desk, and other departments
  • Engaging directly with guests or clients during events
  • Participating in special activities such as cocktail receptions and welcome tours
  • Ensuring client requests are handled promptly and efficiently

The ideal candidate should embody Hilton's customer-centric approach and possess the following skills and qualifications:

  • Degree in Management, Hospitality, or Marketing
  • Experience in coordinating cluster groups, conferences, and events, preferably within hospitality
  • Strong multitasking and organizational skills
  • Problem-solving abilities
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
  • Proactive attitude with the ability to meet deadlines and objectives
