Job description

MUTE : acoustics is seeking a highly motivated and technically savvy Sales Engineer to take full ownership of the sales process from lead generation to deal closure. This is a pivotal, client-facing role focused on driving direct sales across both B2C and B2B segments. You will be the key commercial driver responsible for identifying prospects, crafting tailored acoustic solutions, and closing deals to grow revenue.

This role combines technical consultation with sales leadership, ideal for a professional who thrives in a performance-driven environment and is passionate about acoustics, design, and client engagement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Take full responsibility for the end-to-end sales cycle: lead generation, client engagement, proposal development, and contract closure.
  • Identify and target new business opportunities across residential, corporate, hospitality, and educational sectors.
  • Conduct on-site assessments and consultations to analyze acoustic needs and propose technically sound solutions.
  • Serve as a product and solutions expert, clearly communicating the acoustic performance, design value, and applications of our offerings.
  • Prepare and present customized proposals with technical specs, layout suggestions, and visuals (in collaboration with the design team as needed).
  • Deliver compelling sales presentations and demos tailored to client requirements.
  • Negotiate pricing, terms, and close deals to consistently meet or exceed sales targets.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers including homeowners, architects, designers, contractors, and facility managers.
  • Maintain accurate sales pipeline and activities using CRM tools.
  • Coordinate with internal teams to ensure on-time delivery, installation, and after-sales satisfaction.
  • Stay informed on trends in acoustics, building materials, and interior design to continuously refine your consultative sales approach.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in technical sales, ideally in the fields of acoustics, construction, interior design, architecture, or building materials.
  • Proven ability to manage the full sales cycle and close high-value deals independently.
  • Strong technical aptitude with a desire to understand and explain acoustic concepts and solutions.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Comfortable interfacing with a wide range of stakeholders—from homeowners to senior executives and design professionals.
  • Self-driven, results-oriented, and capable of managing a sales territory autonomously.
  • Familiarity with CRM systems and digital tools for sales tracking and client management is an advantage.
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Civil, Industrial), Architecture, Interior Design, or a related field preferred.
  • Fluent in English (required); Arabic language skills are a significant plus.

Compensation

Monthly Salary: 6,000 - 9,000 AED (commensurate with experience and qualifications)

Performance-based incentives may be offered.
