Job summary

Confidential Company in Abu Dhabi seeks an Electrical & Instrumentation engineer to coordinate installation, testing and commissioning across industrial E&I, solar projects and EPC execution. You will review drawings, specs, BOQs, and method statements, supervise site teams, coordinate subcontractors and procurement, and support project handover with accurate documentation.

The role requires 5–8 years of relevant experience, UAE/GCC exposure, and a strong focus on HSE, quality, and timely

Qualifications

• Degree or Diploma in Electrical Engineering or Electrical & Instrumentation Engineering.
• 5–8 years of relevant experience in industrial E&I, solar projects, and/or EPC execution.
• Practical knowledge of electrical installation, instrumentation, testing, and commissioning.
• Exposure to solar PV systems and EPC project workflows.
• Experience in site supervision, subcontractor coordination, and project documentation.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate E I installation maintenance and shutdown activities across industrial and oil gas projects.
• Support solar PV installations including modules, inverters, cabling, electrical connections, testing and commissioning.
• Coordinate EPC activities covering engineering, procurement, construction, testing and project handover.
• Review electrical drawings, single-line diagrams, cable schedules, technical specifications and method statements.
• Review BOQs, method statements and project schedules.
• Coordinate site manpower, materials, equipment, subcontractors and project schedules.
• Monitor project progress, resolve technical issues and report delays or resource requirements to the Project Manager.
• Coordinate with clients, subcontractors, suppliers and site teams to ensure smooth project execution.
• Ensure compliance with HSE procedures, quality standards, client specifications and applicable regulations.
• Maintain project documentation, progress reports, inspection records, testing reports and as-built drawings.
• Support pre-commissioning, commissioning, punch-list clearance and final handover.
