Job Purpose

Core Technical Focus: On-Premise Dynamics CRM Architecture

The role is highly specialized, requiring deep expertise in Microsoft's Dynamics CRM (Customer Relationship Management) platform, specifically in on-premise environments, which is less common now than cloud-based deployments.

• Platform Expertise: Extensive experience with Dynamics CRM, including older versions and Dynamics 365, is crucial. The architect must know the platform's development and architecture inside and out.
• On-Premise Focus (A Recurring Theme): This is the most critical constraint. The candidate must be proficient with the underlying infrastructure: Windows Server, IIS (Internet Information Services), and SQL Server. This indicates the organization has a substantial, likely complex, local infrastructure that needs specialized attention.
• Development Stack: Strong skills in the Microsoft development ecosystem: .NET and C# are essential for customizing and extending Dynamics CRM and building integrations.
• Modern Principles in a Traditional Setting: The knowledge of enterprise integration patterns, microservices, and API design shows a desire to apply modern architectural thinking, even within the confines of an on-premise setup.
