Al Rabeeh Academy in Abu Dhabi is seeking experienced and passionate Science Teachers to join its high-performing team for an immediate start.

Qualifications

• Be a fluent English speaker.
• Bachelor’s degree in Education or a relevant subject with PGCE / QTS (or equivalent teaching qualification).
• Have experience teaching the English National Curriculum, preferably in an international setting.
• Strong classroom management skills and commitment to student wellbeing.
• Excellent communication, teamwork, and organisational skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging, well-structured lessons in line with British curriculum standards, with the ability to teach Science up to at least GCSE level (Biology, Chemistry, and/or Physics).
• Model strong scientific inquiry, analytical, and problem-solving skills through creative and effective teaching approaches.
• Use a range of formative and summative assessment strategies to monitor, track, and support student progress.
• Contribute to curriculum planning, departmental development, and the creation of high-quality teaching and laboratory resources.
• Support the academic and pastoral well-being of students, promoting the school’s values, routines, and high expectations.
• Build strong, positive relationships with parents through clear communication regarding student progress, attainment, and next steps.
• Participate actively in school events, professional development, and broader whole-school initiatives.
