Job summary

Miral Experiences in the United Arab Emirates is seeking a hands-on Technical Support professional to set up, operate, and maintain audio, video, lighting, and show control systems for live entertainment and park events.

You will conduct daily checks, perform preventive and corrective maintenance, troubleshoot in real time, and support production teams to ensure smooth operations of shows and daily park activities.

Qualifications

• Essential: High school diploma or equivalent.
• Essential: Proven experience with audio, video, lighting and special effects in live entertainment or event production.
• Essential: Electrical, electronics, IT and network experience.
• Essential: Knowledge of operating entertainment show systems and show control systems.
• Essential: Keen interest in technology and up-to-date with latest tech.
• Essential: Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
• Essential: Ability to work under tight timelines and spend long hours standing.
• Essential: Clear written and spoken English.
• Essential: Computer skills and ability to read one-line drawings and schematics.
• Essential: Physical capability to lift at least 25 kg.

Responsibilities

• Take active role in setting up, operating, and maintaining AVL/lighting equipment and technical operations.
• Conduct daily checks, startup and closing procedures, and preventive/corrective maintenance of AVL and network systems.
• Minimize downtime through preventive maintenance per manufacturer requirements.
• Troubleshoot issues in real-time to minimize disruption of live shows and events.
• Support production and event sales teams to meet technical requirements and ensure smooth daily operations of shows and parks.
• Ensure corrective maintenance is performed effectively to prevent recurring issues.
• Attend briefings, trainings, and development programs to promote growth.
• Follow safety practices and complete maintenance checklists as required.
