Job summary

eFinancialCareers Ltd. seeks a VP, Group Accounting and Reporting for the Investment Office in Dubai, UAE. The role will ensure accurate IFRS reporting, group consolidation, intercompany management and statutory filings with strong controls and data integrity.

The successful candidate will relocate to Dubai and collaborate with Finance, Technology and Data & AI teams to optimise data flows and system capabilities, including NetSuite, for enhanced efficiency and value-added services.

Qualifications

• Qualified accountant with IFRS and group consolidation experience.
• Strong external audit coordination and statutory reporting background.
• Advanced Excel skills and experience with financial systems.

Responsibilities

• Oversee Group accounting including general ledger, cash management, reconciliations, intercompany and Accounts Payable.
• Lead Group consolidation and statutory reporting in line with IFRS and internal policies.
• Coordinate Group audits with external auditors and Tax teams for timely filings.
• Ensure data integrity of financial data from investment systems into NetSuite.
• Act as NetSuite power user, optimising configuration and usage.
• Collaborate with Finance, Technology and Data & AI teams to optimise data integration and implement AI applications.
• Lead projects to strengthen controls, policies and procedures for cash and intercompany transactions.
• Drive best practices across financial reporting, consolidation and systems.
