Job summary

AECOM Middle East Ltd seeks an experienced Surveyor to join its Buildings and Places team in Dubai, UAE. The role supports construction and infrastructure projects by delivering accurate surveying data, ensuring compliance with design specifications, safety standards and quality requirements across all project stages.

The position is site-based, working with Resident Engineers and inspectors on live projects in Dubai.

Qualifications

Diploma/degree in Surveying or Civil Engineering is required.
Experience in construction and infrastructure surveying is essential.
Strong knowledge of drawings, specifications and site procedures.

Responsibilities

Read and interpret contract documents, drawings, and specifications.
Perform survey work under guidance of the Resident Engineer.
Establish control points for horizontal and vertical measurements.
Conduct ground and geodetic surveys for baselines, elevations, contours, and alignments.
Verify accuracy of survey measurements and closures.
Maintain field books, notes, and survey records.
Coordinate activities with contractors' surveyors and inspectors.
Check setting-out works for accuracy and conformance.
Prepare survey maps, reports, and legal descriptions.
Calibrate and maintain survey equipment.
Apply safety, quality control and QA procedures.
