Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in steel structural fabrication, including Indian experience.
• Familiarity with various welding techniques such as MIG, TIG, and Arc welding.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret engineering blueprints, drawings and specifications.
• Measure, cut and assemble steel components using welding, bolting and riveting techniques.
• Operate fabrication equipment such as grinders, saws, drills and welding machines.
• Ensure proper alignment and fitting of steel structures before final welding or bolting.
• Conduct quality inspections to ensure compliance with industry standards.
• Perform maintenance and troubleshooting of fabrication tools and equipment.
• Follow safety protocols and regulations.
• Collaborate with engineers and supervisors.

Skills

Proficiency in reading and understanding structural drawings

Strong knowledge of metal cutting, grinding, welding and assembly techniques
