Responsibilities

• Oversee the kitchen staff including training new staff and managing schedules.
• Help create and maintain menus and recipes and select ingredients.
• Prepare, present and service menu items ensuring quality taste and presentation.
• Track and order inventory, ensuring necessary tools and supplies.
• Ensure adherence to safety regulations and sanitation practices.
• Communicate relevant information to kitchen staff and liaise with other departments.
• Provide supportive leadership to kitchen staff and represent the head chef in their absence.
• Work with the head chef and general manager to grow business and drive sales.
