Job summary

Twine is seeking a Video Editor in Dubai to transform extensive raw footage into compelling short-form and long-form content for platforms like Instagram Reels, TikTok, and YouTube. You will craft engaging narratives with hooks, pacing, and subtitles, while handling graphics, sound design, and visual effects.

The role requires strong storytelling, a robust portfolio across social and long-form content, and on-site availability in Dubai to meet tight deadlines.

Qualifications

• Four years’ professional experience in video editing.
• Strong portfolio showcasing both social and long-form content.
• Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro and/or DaVinci Resolve.
• Experience with After Effects, color grading, audio workflows, multicam editing, and captioning.
• Familiarity with proxy workflows and collaborative review tools (e.g., Frame.io).
• Strong storytelling skills and editorial judgment for audience engagement.
• Excellent command of English, both written and spoken.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• On-site availability in Dubai.

Responsibilities

• Edit and assemble raw footage into polished videos for social platforms and long-form channels.
• Develop clear, engaging storylines and identify key moments to enhance narrative flow.
• Apply advanced editing techniques, including color grading, sound design, and visual effects.
• Incorporate subtitles, graphics, and music to elevate video quality and accessibility.
• Manage large media libraries and utilize proxy workflows for efficient editing.
• Collaborate with team members using review tools such as Frame.io or similar platforms.
• Ensure all content meets high standards for visual quality and audience retention.
• Work on-site in Dubai and deliver projects within tight deadlines.
