Job summary

GEMS Education is recruiting a Physics Teacher to deliver GCSE and A Level physics at Jumeirah College in Dubai, UAE. The role focuses on conceptual understanding, practical investigations and examination preparation in line with England's National Curriculum.

You will join a high-performing science department, plan engaging lessons, supervise laboratories, assess progress and contribute to enrichment activities for international students.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Education with PGCE/PGDE or equivalent qualification.
• Minimum 2 years of teaching the National Curriculum for England.
• Strong knowledge of GCSE and A Level Physics.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver GCSE and A Level Physics lessons aligned with the National Curriculum for England.
• Teach GCSE and A Level Physics with current subject knowledge and clear demonstrations.
• Develop lesson sequences to improve understanding and examination performance.
• Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback.
