Job summary

Woopel in Dubai is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to join our team. You will be responsible for designing, fabricating, installing and maintaining mechanical components and systems, while ensuring safety and reliability on site.

The ideal candidate holds a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering (or related field) and has at least three years’ experience. CAD skills are preferred; strong problem‑solving and communication abilities are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical/Electrical/Aerospace/Industrial) or equivalent field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience as a Mechanical Engineer in a related industry.
• Knowledge of CAD software (Solidworks/AutoCAD/Creo) is preferred but not required.
• Ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues quickly and effectively.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Designing mechanical components and systems according to customer specifications.
• Analyzing existing mechanical systems and recommending improvements.
• Testing new components before installation.
• Installing mechanical components in accordance with safety regulations.
• Maintaining existing systems by performing regular checks and repairs.
• Liaising with clients to ensure that their requirements are met.
• Keeping records of all maintenance activities.
• Developing detailed plans for system upgrades or replacements.
