Job summary

Trustbend Packers & Movers in Dubai seeks a detail-oriented Accountant to manage financial records and support daily accounting operations for its moving and logistics services.

The ideal candidate will apply accounting principles, handle invoicing, A/P and A/R, VAT compliance, and assist with monthly closings while maintaining confidentiality and accuracy. Proficiency in Tally, QuickBooks, Zoho Books, and Excel is valued.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Previous experience as an Accountant or Accounts Assistant is preferred.
• Knowledge of accounting principles, bookkeeping, and financial reporting.
• Familiarity with accounting software such as Tally, QuickBooks, Zoho Books, or similar systems.
• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and other office applications.
• Understanding of UAE VAT procedures is an advantage.
• Strong numerical, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good communication and organizational abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet financial deadlines.
• Honest, reliable, and professional approach to handling financial information.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate financial records, ledgers, and accounting documents.
• Record daily financial transactions, including payments, receipts, invoices, and expenses.
• Prepare customer invoices for packing, moving, transportation, and storage services.
• Monitor accounts payable and accounts receivable.
• Reconcile bank statements and verify financial transactions.
• Track operational expenses, supplier payments, and customer collections.
• Prepare monthly financial reports and accounting summaries for management.
• Assist with budgeting, expense monitoring, and cash flow management.
• Verify bills, purchase orders, receipts, and supporting documents.
• Coordinate with operations and logistics teams regarding service charges and expenses.
• Follow up on outstanding customer payments and maintain updated account records.
• Assist with monthly and annual financial closing procedures.
• Support VAT documentation and tax-related accounting activities in accordance with applicable UAE requirements.
• Maintain confidentiality of financial and customer information.
• Ensure accounting records are organized and available for internal reviews and audits.
