Job summary

Flyper in Dubai, UAE is seeking a Librarian to join our team. You will provide library services to patrons and assist with research projects, working with a wide range of library materials.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Library Science or related field preferred.
• Minimum 1 year of experience working as a librarian (or similar role) preferred but not required.
• Knowledge of different types of information sources, including databases, catalogs, indexes, etc.
• Excellent customer service skills and ability to work with a diverse range of people.
• Ability to stay organized and manage multiple tasks at once.
• Computer literacy with knowledge of standard office applications.
• Ability to use modern technology such as online databases and scanners.
• Fluency in English is required; fluency in other languages is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Manage library collections and book catalogs.
• Assist patrons in finding materials or using online databases.
• Provide reference services when needed.
• Guide users on how to use library systems and equipment.
