Job summary

AECOM is seeking an experienced Land Surveyor for a major project located in Dubai. You will conduct survey work under senior supervision, establish control points, and coordinate with the contractor’s surveyor. The role requires strong field skills and modern survey software know-how.

Ideal candidate has 10+ years in construction/supervision and a Diploma in Civil or Survey, with RTA/DM approval preferred. On-site position with extensive collaboration across teams.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Civil or Survey with at least 7 years of experience.
• RTA/DM approval preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform survey work under the direction of the Senior Highway Surveyor.
• Establish primary horizontal and vertical control points with reference ties.
• Record measurements, rod readings and calculations in field books.
• Coordinate with the Contractor’s surveyor on priorities and schedules.
• Check work by completing traverse closures and bench circuits.
• Report discrepancies to the Assistant Resident Engineer.
• Perform joint measurements of the completed work for payment.
• Maintain equipment and conduct regular calibration checks.
