Job summary

SkyPoint in Dubai is looking for a skilled Maintenance Technician (Handyman) to join our team. The role is full-time with a monthly salary of $1,800, and does not offer accommodation.

You will handle general maintenance including plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and painting, repair equipment, inspect buildings, address tenant requests, manage supplies, and uphold safety standards. Strong English communication is required, with preference for Nepali candidates fluent in English.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Handyman or Maintenance Technician preferred but not required for freshers.
• Familiarity with hand and power tools.
• Basic knowledge of electrical, plumbing, carpentry and painting; reading blueprints or technical drawings is a plus.
• Good communication skills in English are required.
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
• Preference given to Nepali candidates fluent in English.

Responsibilities

• Perform general maintenance tasks such as plumbing, electrical, carpentry and painting.
• Conduct repairs on equipment and appliances as needed.
• Inspect buildings for issues or damages and report findings to management.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests from tenants or management.
• Keep track of inventory and order supplies for maintenance work.
• Ensure safety measures are followed when performing tasks.
• Communicate progress or issues with co-workers and management.
