Job summary

PPOAR in Dubai seeks a skilled Carpenter (Expat) with at least 3 years of carpentry experience to join our construction team. You will build, install, and repair structures, following blueprints and plans, while delivering high-quality workmanship.

This role offers accommodation and is open to an international workforce. English proficiency is not required, and the ideal candidate can work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years experience in carpentry.
• Proficient with hand tools such as saws, hammers, chisels and levels.
• Ability to read blueprints and follow building plans accurately.
• Good physical stamina and hand-eye coordination.
• Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality workmanship.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Excellent time management skills.
• Experience in the construction industry is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Measure, cut, and shape wood, plastic, fiberglass, or drywall materials according to specifications
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings and sketches
• Install structures and fixtures such as windows, frames, floorings, trim or hardware
• Inspect existing structures to determine if repairs or renovations are needed
• Collaborate with other team members to ensure projects are completed on time
• Adhere to safety protocols at all times on construction sites
