Job summary

The Dubai Department of Economy and Tourism seeks a Senior Consultant to drive strategic development and execution of Dubai’s economic policies within the Economic Strategy Sector. You will lead complex projects, engage stakeholders, and provide analytic support to align initiatives with Dubai’s Growth Agenda.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Economics, or related field.
• Professional certifications (PMP, CAP, CFA, CBE, CEcD, FRM, Data Scientist) are advantageous.
• Close to 10 years of strategic economic planning experience.
• Proven track record in proposing and implementing growth strategies.
• Experience representing organisations at economic forums.
• Experience in management consulting is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex projects end to end, with governance, risk management and delivery oversight.
• Assist in formulation and refinement of Dubai’s growth strategies, policies and plans.
• Provide analytical support to ensure strategies align with Dubai’s objectives.
• Analyze existing programs to assess effectiveness and identify improvements.
• Collaborate on special projects focusing on key sectors and prepare detailed reports.
• Engage with clients, partners and the private sector to align expectations with Dubai’s strategies.
• Represent DET in economic forums and working groups locally and regionally.
• Evaluate economic feasibility of projects and prepare summaries for decision-making.
• Support Economic Strategy with research and analysis across departments.
• Prepare high-quality materials for Director General and senior leadership.
