Job summary

Qualifications

• Must have a medical degree and/or postgraduate qualification in a relevant field.
• At least 3 years of experience in a healthcare facility.
• Excellent knowledge of medical regulations, standards and procedures in the UAE.
• Fluency in English is required, knowledge of Arabic is a plus.
• Ability to demonstrate strong problem-solving skills and be organized.
• Excellent communication skills with staff and patients.
• Must possess knowledge of medical terminology, technology, and patient care standards.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and treat diseases or injuries using appropriate methods; refer to specialists as needed.
• Monitor patients’ conditions; order laboratory tests or other diagnostic tests as needed.
• Prescribe medications or therapies as needed, monitoring patients’ reactions closely.
• Maintain patient records including assessments, evaluations, and treatment plans.
• Educate patients on proper healthcare practices such as preventive measures to avoid illnesses or injuries.
