Job summary

PPOAR in Dubai is seeking a skilled Civil Engineer to drive design, development and implementation of civil engineering projects in our Dubai office. You will work closely with contractors, architects and clients to ensure designs meet codes and construction realities.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, understands construction materials and structural design principles, and can prepare project plans and cost estimates while prioritizing safety and quality.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent
• Experience in civil design and project coordination preferred
• Good knowledge of building codes and safety standards

Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee the design process, ensuring that all designs adhere to applicable codes and regulations
• Perform site investigations to determine project requirements
• Prepare detailed project plans, including cost estimates
• Monitor project progress to ensure that deadlines are met
• Carry out quality assurance tests on materials used in construction
• Ensure compliance with safety standards during construction activities
• Liaise with contractors, clients, architects and other stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle
