Job summary

Workato in Dubai is seeking an experienced and skilled Chef to lead our culinary team in the kitchen, create high-quality dishes, and ensure excellent customer service. The role offers a salary of 1600 AED with great benefits.

You will plan menus, supervise kitchen staff, maintain food safety standards, and source fresh ingredients from local suppliers, contributing to a positive work environment in a vibrant, affluent city.

Qualifications

Proven experience as a chef or cook in restaurants or hotels.
Experience in planning menus and preparing meals according to customer preferences.
Excellent understanding of flavor combinations, ingredients, food presentation, and cooking methods.
Creative approach to menu planning and presentation.
Ability to use the latest kitchen equipment and technology.
Knowledge of health & safety regulations related to food preparation & storage.
Excellent organizational skills & attention to detail.

Responsibilities

Create high-quality dishes that adhere to our standards for taste, presentation, portion control, cost management and time management
Monitor food preparation methods & portion sizes throughout the entire process
Ensure that all kitchen staff adheres to food safety standards at all times
Source fresh ingredients from local suppliers whenever possible
Develop new recipes that are both innovative & cost-effective
Train & supervise kitchen staff on proper cooking techniques & safety protocols
Monitor stock levels & order fresh supplies when required
