Job summary

LEAMS Education in Dubai seeks a dedicated Career Counselor to guide students in academic pathways, subject choices, and career opportunities. You will run one-on-one and group sessions, and support university admissions planning for UAE and international programs.

Ideal candidates have a relevant degree, at least two years of UAE experience, and strong communication and organizational skills. Certifications in career counseling are a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in psychology, counseling or related field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Career Counselor in UAE.
• Knowledge of global university application processes (UAE, UK, USA, Canada, India, and others).
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
• Certifications in career counseling/psychometric testing are an added advantage.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one and group counseling sessions to guide students on academic pathways, subject selections, and career opportunities.
• Support students in preparing for higher education admissions (UAE and international universities).
• Conduct career guidance workshops, seminars, and assessments for students and parents.
• Assist in organising university fairs, guest lectures, and internship/placement opportunities.
• Collaborate with teaching staff to align counseling with students’ academic strengths and goals.
• Maintain updated knowledge on university admission requirements, scholarships, and global education trends.
• Offer personal development and soft skills training (e.g., communication, time management, study skills).
