Job summary

PER in Dubai seeks an accomplished VP of Finance to ensure accurate, IFRS-compliant reporting and maintain strong controls across the function. You will oversee group accounting, intercompany flows, consolidation, and audits, with hands-on NetSuite oversight and AI-enabled process improvements.

You will relocate to Dubai and work with cross-functional teams to enhance data integrity, automation and value-added financial services.

Qualifications

Qualified accountant with professional certification (CPA/CA/ACA or equivalent).
Strong IFRS knowledge with experience in group consolidation and statutory reporting.
Experience coordinating external audits and interfacing with tax authorities.
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and proficiency with financial systems.
Experience in financial services, asset management or investment management preferred.

Responsibilities

Oversee Group accounting, including general ledger, cash management, reconciliations, intercompany and accounts payable, ensuring strong controls.
Lead Group consolidation and statutory reporting in compliance with IFRS and internal policies.
Coordinate Group audits with external auditors and tax teams for timely filings.
Ensure data flows from investment systems into NetSuite; act as NetSuite power user and owner.
Partner with Finance, Technology and Data & AI teams to optimize data integration and apply AI across finance.
Lead projects to strengthen financial controls, policies and procedures, including intercompany and transfer pricing.
Drive best practices in financial reporting, consolidation and systems to enhance value-added services.
