Qualifications

• Proven experience as an Assistant Chef, Commis Chef, or Kitchen Cook.
• Knowledge of food preparation techniques, cooking methods, and kitchen safety.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced hospitality environment.
• Familiarity with UAE food safety regulations and hygiene standards.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Head Chef and kitchen team in preparing and cooking meals according to menu specifications.
• Ensure consistent food quality, taste, and presentation.
• Prepare ingredients including chopping, marinating, and portioning.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of kitchen workstations and cooking equipment.
• Assist in inventory management, stock rotation, and ordering supplies.
• Follow food safety, hygiene, and HACCP standards.
• Support training and guidance of junior kitchen staff.
• Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure timely meal service.
