Job summary

AtkinsRéalis is seeking a Dry Utilities Engineer for our Abu Dhabi office to support multi-disciplinary infrastructure projects in the GCC, focusing on dry utilities networks including power, substations, electrical networks and associated street lighting and telecoms.

The candidate should have a minimum of 5 years design experience, strong communication skills, and familiarity with ArcGIS, AutoCAD, MicroStation, Dialux, and Revit/BIM. Health & Safety compliance is emphasized in this role.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of design experience in a similar role/project.
• Experience with ArcGIS, AutoCAD, MicroStation, Dialux, Revit/BIM beneficial.
• Strong interpersonal, writing and communications skills.

Responsibilities

• Technical support on large multi-disciplinary infrastructure projects delivery.
• Report on project performance.
• Ensure Health & Safety compliance and foster a safety culture.
• Assist in developing a highly motivated and performing team.
• Provide technical expertise on various large engineering projects.
• Support designs and budgets and drive projects from tender to delivery.

Job Description Overview

The AtkinsRéalis Infrastructure Business is seeking a highly motivated detail oriented self-starter to join our Abu Dhabi office as a Dry Utilities Engineer. The Engineer will support infrastructure multi-disciplinary projects for clients in GCC including planning designing and engineering related to dry utilities networks which may be comprised of power (MV/LV) substations electrical networks renewable energy resources street lighting telecommunication etc

Your role

• . in Electrical Engineering.
• The potential candidate has a minimum of 5 years of design experience in a similar role/project.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and strong technical writing and communications skills. Experience and familiarity with the following programs are a plus: ArcGIS AutoCAD MicroStation Dialux Software Revit/BIM experience.
• General Competencies expected of all Professionals and Managers are as follows: Client Service Commitment Communication Innovation & Continuous Improvement Professionalism Quality and Teamwork.
• Ability to process paper/electronic documents and utilize computer equipment; ability to communicate clearly both orally and in writing; ability to visit project sites if necessary.
• Job also requires ability to assemble and analyze data.
