Job summary

Emirates Panel Company Trading LLC in Dubai is seeking a skilled Draftsman to create and configure technical drawings as per client requirements. You will review orders, understand project scope, and generate precise 2D drawings using AutoCAD.

The role requires at least 3 years of drafting experience, an associates degree or CAD-related training, and the ability to work with minimal supervision while coordinating with clients and site teams. adherence to HSE policies is required.

Qualifications

• Associates degree or technical CAD/drafting course completion.
• Minimum 3 years of work experience in a drafting role.

Responsibilities

• Review order confirmation documents prior to generate shop drawings.
• Understand the project requirement related to product type and scope.
• Generate technical drawings through 2D drafting software (AutoCAD).
• Prepare technical documents from GA drawings, cut lists, BOQs, erection drawings and as built drawings.
• Be well-rounded in detailed drawing and can handle projects without supervision.
• Coordinate with clients to review technical details as required.
• Assist site/operation team for related detail to support erection drawing.
• Maintain quality of drawing per company standard.
• Ensure HSE policies and procedures are followed and implemented.
• Maintain company's interest and objectives when dealing with Clients and third parties.

Job Purpose

Support the Sr. Draftsman mainly by creating and configuring the technical drawings aided by design software as per the client requirements.

Responsibilities and duties

• Review order confirmation documents prior to generate shop drawings.
• Understand the project requirement related to product type and scope.
• Able to generate technical drawings through 2D drafting software (Auto Cad)
• Prepare technical documents from GA drawings, cut lists, bill of quantities (BOQs), erection drawings and as built drawings.
• Well-rounded in detailed drawing and can handle projects without supervision.
• Coordinate with clients to review technical details, as required.
• Assist site/operation team for any related detail to support erection drawing.
• Maintain quality of drawing as per company standard.
• Ensure that HSE policies and procedures are followed and implemented.
• Maintain company's interest and objectives when dealing with Clients and third parties.

Qualifications

• Associates degree or completion of a technical course in CAD, drafting, engineering or related technical field
