Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience as a Respiratory Therapist.
• Multilingual (Arabic, English) is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic tests such as arterial blood gas analysis and pulmonary function tests.
• Administer therapeutic procedures including oxygen therapy and chest physiotherapy.
• Manage ventilators and artificial airway devices for patients in ICU, ER, or surgical settings.
• Collaborate with physicians and nurses to develop respiratory care plans.
• Monitor patient progress and document treatment outcomes.
• Educate patients and families on managing respiratory conditions.
• Respond to emergency situations including cardiac or respiratory arrests.
• Ensure equipment is sanitized, calibrated, and functioning properly.
• Comply with all DOH regulations and hospital protocols.

Skills

Strong knowledge of mechanical ventilation and advanced airway management

Excellent communication and patient care skills

Ability to work in a fast-paced high-acuity healthcare environment

Education

Bachelors Degree in Respiratory Therapy or equivalent

Valid Department of Health (DOH) license
