DOH / DHA Doctor Consultant Medicine – Stroke (Fujairah, UAE)

Position: Consultant Medicine – Stroke. Fixed‑term or permanent placement. Place: Fujairah, United Arab Emirates. Start: as soon as possible. Salary: AED 70,000–82,035 per month (dependent on experience). Registration: DHA (Dubai Health Authority) or DOH (Department of Health) required.

Responsibilities
  • Provide clinical care in both outpatient clinics and hospital wards.
  • Consult in in‑patient and out‑patient departments and share on‑call duties as per schedule.
  • Supervise assistant and associate consultants, and support junior physicians and interns in developing their skills.
  • Participate in the development and operation of clinical directorate services, including service planning and review.
  • Lead clinical audit, risk management, and production of required documentation for regulatory and corporate compliance.
  • Assist in the selection process for junior hospital doctors and other clinical staff.
  • Ensure adequate medical cover in consultation with the Clinical Director, in line with working‑time regulations.
Qualifications & Requirements
  • Minimum 3–4 years post‑fellowship experience.
  • Valid DHA or DOH registration (or in the process of obtaining prior to application).
  • Accepted qualifications: Canadian–Fellowship of the Royal Colleges, Australian–Fellowship of the Royal Colleges, South African–Fellowship of Specialty Colleges, UK CCST/CCT/GMC Specialist Registration, Ireland CCST/CCT/IMC Specialist Registration, US American Board.
  • Strong communication skills and a professional, enthusiastic manner to reflect high standards of patient care.
