Position Overview

Domus Flower LLC is looking for an experienced and highly organized Dispatcher to join our logistics team. The successful candidate will play a vital role in coordinating the supply chain logistics for our floral products, ensuring timely and efficient delivery, and maintaining smooth operations. This position requires a detail-oriented individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment and has strong communication and problem-solving skills. A valid UAE driving license is required.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage the supply chain logistics for flowers, including sourcing, procurement, transportation, and distribution.
• Develop and maintain relationships with flower growers, suppliers, and distributors. Negotiate contracts and agreements to ensure cost-effective and timely delivery of flowers.
• Coordinate the shipping and handling of flowers, including packaging, labeling, and documentation. Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements for transportation.
• Prepare and maintain accurate documentation related to flower shipments, including invoices, bills of lading, and customs documentation. Generate reports on logistics performance.
• Identify and resolve logistics issues promptly to minimize disruptions in flower supply. Implement corrective actions and process improvements as needed
• Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and best practices related to flower logistics, including phytosanitary requirements and international trade regulations
• Monitor logistics costs and identify opportunities to optimize transportation, storage, and distribution expenses while maintaining quality standards.
• Supervise and lead a team of drivers, including hiring, training, scheduling, and performance management.
• Monitor route performance and make adjustments as necessary to improve efficiency and meet delivery deadlines.
• Maintain a high level of customer service by addressing customer inquiries and resolving issues promptly and professionally.
• Plan and optimize daily delivery routes to maximize efficiency and minimize delivery times and costs.

• A high school diploma is required; a Bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain management, business administration, or a related field is preferred.
• At least 3 years of experience in logistics and dispatch within the UAE, preferably in the floral, agricultural, or transportation industries.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to build relationships with suppliers, drivers, and customers.
• Problem-solving and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to make quick decisions under pressure.
• Ability to monitor and optimize delivery routes and operations to maximize efficiency.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy in documentation and logistics reporting.
• Experience with logistics software or tracking systems is a plus.
