NextWave Publications is hiring a reliable Dishwasher in Al Ain to maintain kitchen cleanliness and dishware. This contract role includes accommodation and requires no prior experience, with on-the-job training offered.

You will operate the dishwasher, ensure sanitation, assist with cleaning tasks, and support food prep as needed, while adapting to a fast-paced kitchen environment and working flexible hours.

Qualifications

• No prior experience required; on-the-job training provided.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail.
• Good physical stamina to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Basic understanding of food safety regulations; clean and organize responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Operate industrial dishwasher to wash dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, pans, and other cooking utensils.
• Sort, stack and store clean dishes in proper areas.
• Ensure all dishes are properly sanitized before use.
• Assist with general cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, and trash disposal.
• Maintain stock of clean dishware for kitchen staff during service hours.
• Follow sanitation guidelines to maintain a safe and hygienic kitchen environment.
• Report equipment or dishware malfunctions to management immediately.
• Help with food prep tasks as needed.
