A financial institution in UAE is seeking a Director for their Real Estate Finance team. The role involves assisting in the origination and execution of real estate finance transactions while supporting relationships with banks and real estate professionals. Candidates should have a strong background in finance with 5-10 years of experience in real estate loans within a banking environment, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work under pressure.

Qualifications

• 5 - 10 years of experience in managing real estate loans business in a banking environment.
• Conversant in different asset classes of real estate, primarily hospitality, office, retail, residential.
• Working knowledge of international real estate debt markets and syndicated loan & debt capital markets.

Responsibilities

• Assist in origination and execution of Real Estate Finance transactions.
• Support team in structuring and executing new deals.
• Review existing CRE loan book and identify refinancing opportunities.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Strong financial modelling and PowerPoint skills

Strong negotiating skills

Ability to work under pressure

Good inter-personal skills

Education

Undergraduate degree in Finance, Accounting, Business or related discipline
