About the Job:

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Director of Finance to join the Finance team in Jumeirah Living Marina Gate. The main duties and responsibilities of this role:

• Ensure accurate maintenance of financial records, compliance with accounting standards, and adherence to legal and regulatory requirements, including preparation and review of financial statements.
• Establish robust cash management controls, prepare cash flow forecasts, and oversee reconciliations of balance sheet accounts to ensure accuracy and identify discrepancies.
• Supervise the Finance and Accounting department, ensuring smooth operations and timely delivery of financial reports, while also providing training and development opportunities to enhance team skills.
• Direct the preparation of annual budgets and monthly forecasts, establish major financial objectives and policies, and conduct analysis to minimize variances and maximize return on investment.
• Contribute financial insights and recommendations to strategic planning processes, establish functional objectives aligned with organizational goals, and prepare long‑term capital and operational projections.
• Maintain professional relationships with stakeholders such as owners, asset managers, and corporate teams, reporting on financial performance, acting as a business advisor, and addressing specific requirements.

About You:

The ideal candidate for this position will have the following experience and qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Business, Accounting or Professional accreditation e.g. ACA, ACCA, CPA, CIMA, CMA.
