Job summary

Michael Page has partnered with a government organisation in Abu Dhabi to hire an AI Platforms Operations Director responsible for designing and governing enterprise AI platforms across large-scale digital transformation. You will oversee AI platform operations, DevOps and MLOps capabilities, and vendor partnerships to enable secure, scalable AI adoption.

The role requires strong leadership, deep cloud expertise, and experience in platform architecture, automation pipelines, and governance.

Qualifications

Bachelor's or master's degree in artificial intelligence, computer science, software engineering, data science, information technology, or related discipline.
Minimum of 9 years' experience in AI platforms, cloud technologies, digital transformation, DevOps or MLOps.
Proven leadership experience managing teams, performance and strategic technology initiatives.
Strong expertise in cloud platforms, AI engineering, platform architecture, automation pipelines and governance.

Responsibilities

Lead the strategy, architecture, and governance of enterprise AI platforms and operating environments.
Drive scalable DevOps and MLOps capabilities to accelerate AI solution delivery.
Oversee platform performance, reliability, security, lifecycle management and cloud optimisation.
Establish reusable AI accelerators, templates, sandboxes and development frameworks.
Manage strategic technology partners and vendors while ensuring service excellence.
