Job summary

IFS, a multinational software leader, seeks a Director – Corporate FP&A in Dubai to oversee consolidated reporting and strategic financial insights across the organization.

You will translate complex data into clear narratives for the Board and senior management, lead a finance team, and drive forecasting, liquidity planning, and performance analysis in a fast-paced, global SaaS environment.

Qualifications

  • 7+ years in financial analysis/reporting, with at least 3 years in a reporting leadership role.
  • Deep expertise in consolidated financial reporting, P&L analysis, and business driver understanding
  • Proven ability to translate complex financial data into clear narrative and actionable insights
  • Strong financial modeling and forecasting skills in Excel
  • Excellent communication skills; ability to present financial insights to Board and C-suite
  • Demonstrated experience managing a team in a finance function
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; CPA or MBA preferred

Responsibilities

  • Consolidated Financial Reporting - Own and coordinate consolidated financial reporting across the organization.
  • Maintain a single source of truth for IFS's financial position and performance.
  • Reconcile variances, validate data quality, and drive continuous improvement in reporting processes and controls.
  • Business Driver Analysis & Narrative - Lead deep analysis of group-level P&L movements and drivers.
  • Articulate business drivers in executive-ready narratives for the Board and CFO.
  • Provide context on sustainable vs. one-off performance.
  • Financial Commentary Development - Develop monthly/quarterly performance narratives, Board commentary, and forecasting documents.
  • Coordinate across finance functions to ensure consistent, fact-based messaging.
  • Own the messaging on financial health and strategic progress.
  • Liquidity & Financial Planning - Support liquidity forecasting and cash flow analysis.
  • Model financial impact of business decisions with treasury + operations.
  • Provide early warnings on constraints or opportunities.
  • Ad-Hoc Strategic Analysis - Provide rapid-turnaround financial analysis for strategic initiatives.
  • Build models for scenario planning and decision-making.

Role Overview

The Director – Corporate FP&A owns consolidated financial reporting and analysis across the organization. This role is responsible for translating complex financial data into clear, actionable insights about group-level P&L movements and underlying business drivers. This director serves as the strategic financial communicator to senior management and internal stakeholders, ensuring consistency of financial narrative and quality of insights.

Key Responsibilities

Consolidated Financial Reporting - Own and coordinate consolidated financial reporting across the organization. Ensure consistency of data, methodology, and narrative across reporting streams. Maintain a single source of truth for IFS's financial position and performance. Reconcile variances, validate data quality, and drive continuous improvement in reporting processes and controls.

Business Driver Analysis & Narrative - Lead deep analysis of group-level P&L movements—why did ARR change, why did gross margin move, what's driving operating leverage or expense growth. Articulate the business drivers (volume, pricing, mix, productivity, retention, operational efficiency) in clear, executive-ready narratives. Provide context that helps the Board and CFO understand what's sustainable vs. one-off in financial performance.

Financial Commentary Development - Develop monthly/quarterly performance narratives, financial presentations, Board commentary, and financial forecasting documents. Coordinate across finance functions to ensure commentary is consistent, fact-based, and highlights the drivers of business performance. Own the messaging on financial health and strategic progress.

Liquidity & Financial Planning - Support liquidity forecasting and cash flow analysis. Work with treasury and operations to model financial impact of business decisions. Provide early warning on financial constraints or opportunities for deployment.

Ad-Hoc Strategic Analysis - Provide analysis which supports CEO, CFO, and Strategic Finance team with rapid-turnaround financial analysis on strategic initiatives, business cases, market conditions, and operational performance. Build financial models that enable scenario planning and decision-making.

Qualifications
  • 7+ years of financial analysis/reporting experience, with at least 3 years in a reporting leadership role

  • Proven ability to translate complex financial data into clear narrative and actionable insights

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in SaaS or high-growth software companies

  • Exposure to enterprise planning tools (Oracle EPM, Adaptive Insights)
  • Experience with financial controls, audit processes, and regulatory reporting
  • Track record of building and developing high-performing finance teams
