Qualifications

  • Maximum of 3 years of experience in technical roles.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct training activities to increase competency in survey execution.
  • Assist manager in project deliverables and training.
  • Understand LR services and present solutions to clients.
  • Conduct activities per internal procedures and industry standards.
  • Pursue Initial Professional Development towards CEng status.
  • Assist in quotes and survey fee calculations.
  • Guide and disseminate knowledge to other employees.
  • Communicate client feedback to improve service delivery.
  • Maintain Marine Training Records as required.
  • Undertake routine administration tasks.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct relevant activities as agreed in training plan to increase knowledge and competency in survey execution.
  • Assist manager in producing deliverables within projects and produce own training within agreed timescales and of appropriate quality.
  • Understand all LR services and present deliverables to internal clients initially and later external clients, suggesting solutions where appropriate.
  • Conduct activities in line with internal procedures, accreditation schemes, legislation and industry standards.
  • Pursue Initial Professional Development to support achieving CEng status.
  • Assist with quotes and survey fee calculations to support external clients.
  • Provide guidance to other employees and disseminate knowledge for effective transfer and application.
  • Communicate internal and external client feedback to assist in service delivery improvement.
  • Ensure Marine Training Records are kept and appropriate authorisations are gained in accordance with development plan.
  • Undertake routine administration as required in line with current processes and procedures.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Naval Architecture, Ship Science, Marine Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Maximum 3 years of technical/practical experience in the field.
  • Ability to apply general and specialist engineering knowledge to emerging technology.
  • Skill in designing, developing, manufacturing, constructing, commissioning, operating, and maintaining engineering products, processes, systems and services.
  • Good team player with initiative to meet business and personal objectives.
  • Fluency in English (written and spoken). Other languages are an advantage.
