Job summary

WSP is seeking a Digital Consultant Intern to join its Smart & Digital team in the UAE for a six-month internship. The role blends digital experience design, UI/UX, and product design to develop user-centered digital products and services for cities, buildings and infrastructure.

The ideal candidate combines interest in technology with strong capabilities in design, usability, and emerging technologies. You will gain hands-on client-facing experience and mentorship within a multidisciplinary

Qualifications

Pursuing or recently completed degree in product design, digital design, UX/UI, interaction design, multimedia, HCI, design engineering or related field.
Portfolio showing design process, digital products, UX/UI or multidisciplinary innovation.
Working knowledge of CAD/3D modelling tools.
Figma experience; familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite or equivalent design tools.
Understanding of human-centered design, design thinking, user journeys, wireframing and prototyping.

Responsibilities

Support digital consulting engagements with research, benchmarking, requirements gathering, and client presentations.
Translate user, business and technical needs into clear digital concepts for smart city and infrastructure projects.
Design user-centered digital products and services from discovery through prototyping.
Create customer journeys, information architectures, wireframes, mock-ups and interactive prototypes.
Develop intuitive interfaces for web, mobile, dashboards and platform experiences.
Contribute to digital experience strategies focusing on usability and accessibility.
