Job summary

Naviq in Abu Dhabi seeks an experienced software professional to contribute to data engineering and big data initiatives. The role focuses on developing and supporting data pipelines on Azure Data Factory, Spark, Hadoop ecosystem, and related Azure services.

The candidate should have 5-8 years in software development, strong front-end knowledge, and familiarity with Scrum/SAFe practices to thrive in a fast-paced engineering environment.

Qualifications

• 5-8 years’ experience following the Scrum methodology (certification is desirable).
• 5-8 years’ experience in software development, including the full development life cycle.
• 5-8 years’ experience working in a fast paced software engineering environment.
• Strong knowledge of front end design, development and testing.
• Knowledge of SAFe is desirable.

Qualifications

• Experience in developing and supporting Data Pipeline on Azure Data Factory
• Experience in developing and maintaining applications on Big data technologies - Spark Framework, NoSQL, Azure Data Bricks and Hadoop Ecosystem- Hive, Impala, HDFS, YARN, Pig, Oozie etc
• Experience on Azure SQL DB & Synapse Analytics, Power BI, SSIS, SSRS, T-SQL, Logic Ap
• Knowledge of Azure data lake is required and Azure Services like Analysis Service, Azure DevOps, CI/CD is a must.
• Knowledge and experience in design patterns, industry best practices and standards
• 5-8 years’ experience following the Scrum methodology (certification is desirable)
• 5-8 years’ experience in software development, including the full development life cycle
• 5-8 years’ experience working in a fast paced software engineering environment
• Strong knowledge of front end design, development and testing
• Knowledge of SAFe is desirable
