Responsibilities
  • Assist in the preparation and cleaning of the piercing area, ensuring compliance with health and safety protocols
  • Prepare patients for piercing procedures by explaining the process and addressing any concerns
  • Provide direct support during piercing procedures, ensuring the comfort and safety of patients
  • Monitor patients" vital signs and overall well-being before, during, and after the procedure
  • Educate patients on aftercare practices and proper hygiene measures post-piercing
  • Maintain accurate records of patient interactions and care provided
  • Adhere to all infection control guidelines and ensure a sterile environment
Qualifications
  • Valid DHA certification as an Assistant Nurse
  • Experience in a healthcare or clinical environment; experience in a specialized setting such as a piercing center is a plus
